Mediocre Thai food. Food is a little too sweet in my opinion. The portions are, however, pleasantly large. The price is okay, but there is no service. You place your order at the counter and collect it there. The staff could be friendlier. Furniture kept quite spartan.
Everything okay! Duck good, all good.
Don't get me wrong, but it was delicious there last year. Today I was in the restaurant with my parents, we ordered yellow Thai curry with duck rice, fried noodles with chicken, chicken soup with coconut milk and glass noodles with vegetables, which we eat without salt, so it doesn't taste like anything. Last year there was always salt, pepper, hot sauces on the tables, etc. And today all tables were empty, sauces cost extra, unfortunately we didn't like the food. So it's a shame either the owners have changed or they just don't care about quality anymore. And the kitchen chef who cooked our food enjoyed in front of the hotplate, and unfortunately he didn't have the mask in front of his mouth and nose. THANK YOU SO WE WILL NEVER COME BACK. THUMBS DOWN.
Great food but gets more and more expensive...
As always, the food was delicious. Good ingredients. Unfortunately the ambience has suffered a bit recently.
Totally unfriendly, something is forgotten all the time and the worst wanted money for soy sauce. Thanks never again. Long lost customers. The woman at the checkout was totally fresh!
Catastrophic! But only since the owner changed. So terrible that I don't even want to start writing now .. what a shame! ☹️
I used to be there a lot ... There was lovingly prepared lemonades and iced tea. Unfortunately I was disappointed yesterday. At first I was ignored at the bar (there is probably too much being handled by Lieferando) I was given an allegedly homemade iced tea carelessly, it tasted terrible. The food wasn’t bad, but absolutely overpriced. It's a shame, I'm not going any more ...
Absolute disaster and waste of money! Apparently some employees are not able to speak German! Don't go there!
Was a regular customer in the restaurant to this day, but if you bring the same wrong food twice in a row (and the second time even ate it !!!) and then think twice about wanting your money back, then I absolutely cannot recommend anyone to eat there! ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED! Go to the kebab around the corner, the people at least speak German and understand you too!
good in the past, quality has deteriorated a lot
Waiting time was short, but unfortunately the food was bad. The rice was cold, the sauce was very thin, and the vegetables were barely removed from the raw state. The meat was okay.
if there is zero point i want to give this restaurant zero point i think this restaurant is the worst Asian. Restaurant in Mainz is really supposed to stay here forever
Food is very good, but keeping opening hours up to date should be a matter of course!
I used to love to go there was super delicious food. Now I don't like it anymore. Too bad that you have subsided so much. The duck was dry and the spring rolls were mud. Service was also very unfriendly and most of the items on the menu either didn't exist or didn't match.
Unreliable - Google has opening times that are not adhered to. They are closed on Sundays, during the week they are not available from 11 a.m. The food is mega delicious but it is annoying that you run extra and there is no human soul. This is not possible
Still good option for Thai foods
Apparently the owner has changed. I used to love going there. But the taste has changed a lot no comparison to before. The lemonades also became very watery. There are better ones for the same price where you are served and not how you feel at the train station.
The food is very affordable, fresh and 2 people can eat from one dish. The servings are huge.
Good portions, fresh ingredients, no long waits, friendly staff
Extremely poor service
Nope, this place failed me so bad on my Thai basil beef. I give it a one star because, they have beers on tap. That's my one star for them. How are you going to call my Thai national food a Thai basil when you don't even have a single leaf of Thai basil in them. (Failed)
Delicious food
A bit disappointed of the Glasnudeln : not what's was expected. Furthermore there were midges found on the soy sauce... But the waiter had a nice service
For a casual easy fast food place this had surprisingly good fresh food with the right amount of spice. I had the vegetarian red curry and my husband had the mango salad and we were both pleased with our dishes and surprised how close to real Thai food not the Germanized versión of less spicy Thai food it was. Cheap and cheerful around the €10mark and worth coming to again.
Big plates and tasty Thai food. The menu isn't so clear and the food is a bit expensive.
Very tasty as always. The Exotic Burger is highly recommended.
Service is fast, the food is tasty and the servings are big, I can recommend it.
Awesome food
Well priced and good size portions
Amazing place with big portions and ok prices (less than 10 eur). Taste is very similar to real Thai food, like it a lot.
Good food and the service is good.
Good thai food
On a stopover through Mainz got a quick Thai bite here. Good sized portions for 10 euros or less. Had green Thai. Had Thai green curry chicken although tasty it was too liquids. Overall good
Food used to be better.
Great good & good prices!
Delicious food, good value for money, friendly staff
Tasty noodles if you ask me)
Very large portions, low prices and a small restaurant in the middle of the pedestrian zone at peak times, it can get a bit tight
No
Actually a good experience. Had sweet and sour chicken that was pretty good. Ill eat here again.
Small place but good food
I give it 4 stars for following reasons: Quality was good keeping in mind quick and under 10 euro prices. The staff was helpful in selecting the meal. The portions are large even by my standards. The organization of the tables and seats takes away one star. Understandably, Express restaurants don't maintain large dining area, but still could have more seats inside.
Coconut milk noodle soup with fresh shrimp (forgot the correct name), the soup is good. Add paprika to get tired when half of the soup is left.
the food is okay but you can't use your debit or credit card to buy food, only cash. it's such an inconvenience for us visitors to this area.
Fast fresh thai food. Great selection. Sweet atmosphere for dining in.
Nice atmosphere & good food. They have a menu in English & high chairs for children. I highly recommend the mint lemonade!
not authentic
If you are hungry and tired to walk there is for you the express food :) the food is good, i like the service, very nice and friendly people.
Food certainly not authentic Thai but still great, the place relaxed and the service wonderful. I keep going back every time I'm in Mainz.
